The following officers have retired in good standing from the Monroe Police Department:

Stephen Dunn - Police Officer 

Police Officer Stephen Dunn began his career in 1997 with the Greenwood Lake Police Department.  In 2000, Officer Dunn began workig for the Town of Warwick Police Department before transferring to the Village of Monroe Police Department in 2002.  Officer Dunn retired from the Monroe Police Department in September 2021.

Douglas Krauss - Administrative Sergeant

Administrative Sergeant Krauss retired from the Monroe Police Department in July 2021

Ambiorix Gomezvega - Police Officer

Officer Gomezvega retired from the Monroe Police Department in 2020

David Lee - Sergeant 

Sergeant Lee retired from the Monroe Police Department in November 2019

Anthony Amatetti - Administrative Sergeant

Sergeant Amatetti retired from the Monroe Police Department in November 2019

David Conklin - Police Chief

Joseph Ryle - Police Officer

Joseph Ryle retired from the Monroe Police Department in August 2017

Alessio "Alex" Melchiorre - Police Chief

Chief Alex Melchiorre retired in 2016 after 40 years of service.

Jeffrey DeLuca - Sergeant
Sergeant DeLuca retired from the Monroe Police Department in July 2014.

James Frankild - Detective
Detective Frankild retired from the Monroe Police Department in 2013.

Laura Foley - Sergeant
Sergeant Foley retired from the Monroe Police Department in 2012.

Robert Compasso - Sergeant
Sergeant Compasso retired from the Monroe Police Department in 2012.

Andrew Meislahn - Sergeant
Sergeant Meislahn retired from the Monroe Police Department in 2010.

Gregory Witte - Detective
Gregory Witte was a Detective and our lead Crash Investigator in our Traffic Enforcement Unit.  He retired from the Monroe Police Department in 2009.

Dennis Gomas - Police Officer

John Flood - Sergeant
Sergeant Flood retired from the Monroe Police Department in 2006.

William Scheels - Police Officer
Officer Scheels retired from the Monroe Police Department in 2007.

Andrew Margillo - Police Chief
Chief Margillo retired from the Monroe Police Department in 1990.

James Esposito - Sergeant
Sergeant Esposito retired from the Monroe Police Department in 1988.

George Little - Sergeant
Sergeant Little retired from the Monroe Police Department in 1988.

Randall Stearns - Police Officer
Officer Stearns retired from the Monroe Police Department in 1987.

Sandor Ast - Police Officer
