The following officers have retired in good standing from the Monroe Police Department:

 

Alessio "Alex" Melchiorre - Police Chief

Chief Alex Melchiorre retired in 2016 after 40 years of service.

Jeffrey DeLuca - Sergeant
Sergeant DeLuca retired from the Monroe Police Department in July 2014.

James Frankild - Detective
Detective Frankild retired from the Monroe Police Department in 2013.

Laura Foley - Sergeant
Sergeant Foley retired from the Monroe Police Department in 2012.

Robert Compasso - Sergeant
Sergeant Compasso retired from the Monroe Police Department in 2012.

Andrew Meislahn - Sergeant
Sergeant Meislahn retired from the Monroe Police Department in 2010.

Gregory Witte - Detective
Gregory Witte was a Detective and our lead Crash Investigator in our Traffic Enforcement Unit.  He retired from the Monroe Police Department in 2009.

Dennis Gomas - Police Officer
Officer Gomas retired from the Monroe Police Department in 2009.

John Flood - Sergeant
Sergeant Flood retired from the Monroe Police Department in 2006.

William Scheels - Police Officer
Officer Scheels retired from the Monroe Police Department in 2007.

Andrew Margillo - Police Chief
Chief Margillo retired from the Monroe Police Department in 1990.

James Esposito - Police Officer
Officer Esposito retired from the Monroe Police Department in 1988.

George Little - Sergeant
Sergeant Little retired from the Monroe Police Department in 1988.

Randall Stearns - Police Officer
Officer Stearns retired from the Monroe Police Department in 1987.

Sandor Ast - Police Officer
Officer Ast retired from the Monroe Police Department in 1985.

Dominic Esposito - Sergeant
Sergeant Esposito retired from the Monroe Police Department in 1981.
